A Girl's Mishapped Mysteries Excerpt

Chapter 1
Meet Lola

Lola Marcis sat on her bed reading Computers for Dummies, she had signed up for computer tech at school without realizing it. Even though her family had a computer, she had no practice with it. Oh why did I sign up for this class… if I had known. Oh man I can't even figure out what this is talking about! She thought. She got up and walked to her window, she opened it, sat on her window sill and read. She looked out at her Jonas Brothers poster and sighed the book fell out of her hand and fell two stories to the ground and landed in a puddle and splashing her Siamese kitten with water. The little kitten screeched and ran off, Lola leaning out the window, called, "Sorry, Cho!" She got up and went to grab a magazine off her desk, she picked the one on the very bottom, pulled, and all the magazines went to the ground, "Lola, what was that noise?" Her mom called, "Nothing, Mom!" She called back and looked at the mess on the floor, "Nothing," she whispered. She began picking up the mess when she heard a voice. "That doesn't look like nothing, Lol" She looked up and saw her mom standing in the doorway. "Honestly, Lola! Does everything you do end in disaster? I saw the Computers for Dummies book in the puddle and Cho grooming her drenched fur." "Mom, I'm cluts what can I do?" her mom sighed and left. After picking up her mess, she sat down and read her magazine. She gazed out her window and said to herself, "Why do I have to be such a cluts? Why can't I be normal?"
